For 30 years Bedfordshire Open Door has been providing a safe space for children and young adults to talk about their problems. To celebrate this fact we have set an ambitious fundraising target of £30,000 to ensure we can continue to keep our waiting lists
open for referrals, so that no young person has to wait for the mental health support they need.

The theme for this year’s Mental Health Awareness week is Community and we wanted to share with you, over the course of this week, a very special community we have created – called the BOD POD – and why it works as a safe and inclusive space for young people who are struggling with their mental health.

Toby and Finlay decided on a crazy idea to do a tour on their newly acquired tandem around Central Bedfordshire on their way to their end of year prom.

This event is a fundraiser for Bedfordshire Open Door, supporting young people and all proceeds go directly to the charity.
