Funding our services

We are hugely grateful to our Funders for their contributions to our service - we cannot offer our service without your generosity and belief in what we do.

Our funders believe in the difference we make to the lives of young people

Funding our services

Bedfordshire Open Door has benefited from a range of grants and donations over the years. The National Lottery Community Fund, Children in Need and the Masonic Charitable Foundation have all provided us with 3 year grants, enabling us to have stability in uncertain times.

We have also had generous support from local grant making trusts such as the Harpur Trust, the Gale Family Trust, Wixhamtree Trust, the Panacea Charitable Foundation and the Bedford Park Rotary Club.

We have also received funding for specialist services from the Office of the Police Crime Commissioner (OPCC), Violence & Exploitation Reduction Unit (VERU) and Bedford Borough Council.

Vital support has also come via unrestricted grants from family-based funders such as the Ian Salverson Trust, the Chris Frankish Trust and the Brock Charitable Trust.

Fundraising activities such as Brave the Shave, School Mufti Days, Princes Trust Cake Bake sales have also provided us with heart-warming, encouraging demonstrations of support for what we do.

Thank you to all who have provided us with the resources to deliver free counselling to young people in Bedfordshire.
