Bedford Charities Forum: Building a Stronger Community Together

Bedford Charities Forum

The Bedford Charities Forum is an exciting new collaboration that brings together a diverse range of charities and agencies within Bedford Borough. The goals of this forum are to:

• Celebrate and share positive stories and news
• Encourage the sharing of best practices
• Create opportunities for collaborative partnerships

The charities involved play a crucial role in making Bedford Borough a more supportive and inclusive place to live. They provide essential services related to food poverty, housing and debt advice, disability support, elderly care, medical needs, mental health support, and services for families, children, and young people.

The forum convenes quarterly and is led by Tom Harwood, the Head of Foundation at Blues Foundation. The founding members of the Bedford Charities Forum are:

• Bedford Giving
• Bedford Foodbank
• Bedford Blues Foundation
• Bedfordshire Open Door
• CVS
• Link 2 Change
• Fun4YoungPeople

Through this collaboration, these organizations are working together to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all residents of Bedford Borough.
